About Us

Who We Are

Our founder started Asoumi Care after spending the past eight years working in healthcare, supporting people across many different stages of life and very different circumstances.

Along the way, we met a lot of people who felt let down by the care they were receiving, rushed, impersonal, or treated like a number on a roster.

That's exactly what we set out to change with Asoumi Care. The goal is simple. We want to reach as many people as possible who need support, and give them care that's genuinely curated around them, not a standard package applied to everyone.

Our Name

People often ask about our name, so here's the story behind it.

Asoumi blends Sanskrit and Japanese. In Sanskrit, "Asu" means breath or life force, often linked to vitality. "Mi" carries a sense of grace. In Japanese, "Aso" carries a sense of peace and calm, and "Mi" (美) reflects that same idea of grace and care.

Put together, Asoumi speaks to vitality and calm, energy paired with a gentle, steady approach to care. That's the feeling we want you to have with our team, support that's attentive and genuinely present, never rushed, and never treated as just another task on a list.

Why Families Choose Asoumi Care

There are a lot of providers out there.

What we hear from participants and families most often is that it's the way we show up that makes the real difference.

  • We start by listening properly, not by handing you a checklist
  • One provider across multiple NDIS registration groups, so your care stays consistent and nothing falls through the cracks
  • Support that's led personally, with real attention to how it's working for you over time
  • A Perth based team who understand the local disability sector

How We Work

We treat you as the expert on your own life, because you are. Our job is to bring steadiness, consistency, and real care to help you get where you want to go, not to decide that for you. We move at your pace, and we check in regularly to make sure your support is still working for you, not just working the way it was set up on day one.

What Matters to Us

Values that guide our care

Dignity

Everyone we support deserves to be treated with genuine respect. That means your choices come first, we work at a pace that suits you, and your privacy is always protected.

Independence

We want to build your confidence and skills, not create dependence. Where we can, our support is about helping you do more for yourself, not just doing things for you.

Community

Feeling like you belong is something everyone deserves.. We help you stay connected to the people, places, and activities that make life feel meaningful.

Vitality and grace

Good care should feel energising, not clinical or cold. We bring warmth and genuine attentiveness to every visit, delivered with care and never rushed.

Our Team

Asoumi Care is a small, founder-led team based in Perth. Our founder brings eight years of healthcare experience and stays personally involved in how every participant is supported. Every member of our team holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and the required training, so we’re ready to start supporting new participants straight away. As we grow, we’ll keep bringing on support workers and allied health professionals who share the same commitment to genuine, personalised care.
